My clients are very upscale, sophisticated clients and they always glued to my cards and ask for more, so I am a happy Vistaprint camper.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-29575922.post-76792928373397327812008-03-19T09:30:00.000-05:002008-03-19T09:30:00.000-05:00Hi,Just discovered this blog. Their prices weren't as cheap as Vistaprint for a small run, but I've gotten 100 at a time before and always wish I had more.
So with gotprint.com, I found that when you order larger quantities, the price beats vistaprint. (And they don't SPAM me every other day like vistaprint does!) For 1000 postcards, I'm paying under $35. With the shipping my total is just over $50.
Also, I designed my card to have permanent stuff printed on the back (like my name, contact info, info about the printed artwork) while leaving space for a label which will have the temporary stuff- like exhibit details.
However I failed to investigate the postal regulations. Thanks for alerting me to that. I hope my back design will be ok. If it's not, maybe I can adhere a label which will cover printing in the wrong place! (that's how it goes with me ... always learning, sometimes the hard way, sometimes not!)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-29575922.post-78208924368263600372008-01-25T16:16:00.000-06:002008-01-25T16:16:00.000-06:00Hi,I know - yes, this is a post to a prehistoricly...Hi,

I know - yes, this is a post to a prehistoricly old blog page - but maybe a worthwhile note regardless.

Maybe it's a new thing, but Modern Postcard does do runs of 250 cards.

Best,

CAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-29575922.post-1160188379044848042006-10-06T21:32:00.000-05:002006-10-06T21:32:00.000-05:00Yes! You do need a Flickr page, though, from which to access the photos. I heard about it on another artist's blog: http://sarahwimperis.blogspot.com/index.html/

I just realized that this sounds like spam. Sorry about that. Just wanted to share.andreahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16364011769128646998noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-29575922.post-1160137459826919652006-10-06T07:24:00.000-05:002006-10-06T07:24:00.000-05:00I've been using Vistaprint, as of late. When you sign up with them they frequently email discounted product offers which have given me the opportunity to try various products rather cheaply.Legacy Userhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09222904129951520241noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-29575922.post-1160060253338907652006-10-05T09:57:00.000-05:002006-10-05T09:57:00.000-05:00Great Great information I knew of OP but not Moder...Great Great information I knew of OP but not Modern...so thanks for the info, I've got a re-launch coming next month and it will be good to use pc to spread the word!
~Visit my blog http://www.bistremaven.typepad.comAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-29575922.post-1160006216682844072006-10-04T18:56:00.000-05:002006-10-04T18:56:00.000-05:00I'm a big fan of the postcard. It's frustrating at times to have to order 500 of a card when you know you'll only ever need about 200 max. I'll definitely look into their services for my next postcard run.Angela Wales Rocketthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12654076879838820652noreply@blogger.com
