Funny Rejection Letter

I hate to focus on rejection, but unfortunately it's just part of the process of being an exhibiting artist.
Here's a great example of a rejection letter that uses humor, from the wonderful Letters of Note blog:

This is much better than the rejection letters I get! Maybe every show/gallery should make up funny rejection letters; then we wouldn't feel so rejected when we get them. I've always said that I should have kept all the ones I've gotten over the years and used them as wallpaper- I could have papered my entire house by now!

I just found your blog, and I enjoy it very much. It seems we have almost identical taste in movies and books, btw!

It is refreshing to see a rejection letter that doesn't feel impersonal or leave one actually feeling rejected, maybe some humor is the way to go!

Interesting way to approach sending a rejection letter. I have to send these often at my work, maybe I'll consider using humor next time! It hurts me to have to send out rejections, and yet it's impossible to accept everything we're sent...
